This large sculpture is entirely clad in silver sheet with the corresponding Laminato Ag stamp, and was made by Italian silversmith Marcello Giorgio, in the second half of the 20th century.

It is signed Marcello Giorgio and bears the author's identifying mark, a stylized and smiling sun.
Its craftsmanship is recognizable by its high descriptive quality and the ability to render very detailed work, as well as a certain originality; one can note the plumage described in meticulous, realistic, and academic fashion, interrupted by smooth areas bounded by incised black lines around the neck and under the wings, which give the sculpture a unique Deco style and extremely decorative appeal.

The inlaid two small glass spheres mimicking the eyes complete the piece, making it very expressive.

It is a sculpture of great decorative value and fine workmanship, and has therefore aged well over time. Some slight signs of oxidation do not detract from its beauty and prestige.
