OSKAR DERYCH, MORNING ROUTINE, an acrylic painting on canvas (100 × 80 cm), created in 2026, an original edition, a portrait, signed with a handwritten signature, in perfect condition, Poland.
Description from the seller
An acrylic on canvas painting measuring 100x80 cm, depicting a man smoking a cigarette with a floating cup. Created in 2026. Author's technique - palimpsest raw painting. Oskar Derych, graduate of art history, inspirer and lecturer, former vice-rector for development at the European Academy of Arts Antoni Fałat. Derych is a Polish visual artist whose work balances on the border of surrealism, conceptual photography, and painting. His “artography” is a unique form of exploring photographic techniques, in which he combines elements of dream, imperfection, and transgression, creating extremely suggestive portraits in this technique, comparable to Bacon’s painting.
His works have been presented at the 13th International Art Exhibition in Venice - Contemporary Venice in Palazzo Albrizzi-Capello titled Mixing Identities, Colover Gallery, SwissArtBox Zurich, and at solo exhibitions in Warsaw. The artist believes that art should function in a personal environment, and not be confined to galleries or museums. His works on Saatchi Art have reached prices from 2,600 to 3,360 dollars.
