Valeria Pesce's original minimalist oil on wood panel painting RUSH TIME (30×30 cm, 2 cm thick), hand-signed and dated 2026, in excellent condition and unframed, depicting fish and water in red, orange, green and white tones, produced in Spain, sold directly by the artist and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
RUSH TIME
Original minimalist oil painting on wood panel. SHIPS WITHOUT A FRAME.
The fish are built with few brushstrokes and the water is suggested by the color of the background. The red fish I paint float lightly with their sinuous, elegant movements in a gravity-free liquid sky. The fish as a universal archetypal element, as a link between diverse worlds, as an expression of the flow of life and of emotions. Quick and fugitive like clouds and thoughts, they sometimes lose concreteness and suggest abstraction, embodying the delicate balance between serenity and vital impulse.
I am interested in the boundary between the real world and the surreal world of my constantly transforming aquatic landscapes.

ABOUT ME
Born in Italy, on the island of Sardinia, in 1963, after periods in New York to study graphic design and later in Milan, I moved to Barcelona in 1991 to work as a graphic designer and here I began my artistic career which over time has become my profession, my passion, and above all a vital necessity.
I have held solo and group exhibitions in various European cities and my works are in different private collections around the world.
My work is deeply rooted in nature and human emotions, my star theme is water and fish, two visual universes that share symbolic intensity. The fascination with the fluidity and dynamism of water acts as the through line of my creations and symbolizes constant transformation.
