This work is part of The Artphabet, an artistic project developed by digital artist Cess, in which each letter of the alphabet pays homage to key figures of contemporary art.

In this piece, the letter D becomes a tribute to Damien Hirst, reinterpreting his conceptual universe through a clean, clinical, and highly recognizable aesthetic. The letter is presented as a translucent structure containing an aquatic environment inside, directly evoking the artist's iconic vitrines.

The presence of the suspended shark inside the volume recalls one of Hirst’s most emblematic works, translating his artistic language —based on preservation, life, and death— into a contemporary typographic form.
