An important Victorian work documenting the history, archaeology, geology, natural history and wildlife of Lundy Island in the Bristol Channel. Beautifully bound in the original green publisher's cloth with gilt lettering and black decorative stamping.

Condition
Original publisher's green cloth binding.
Bright gilt title and decorative cover.
Folding map of Lundy Island present.
Text pages generally clean with light age-related foxing.
Binding remains sound.
Tears to the front endpaper/inner hinge.
Folding map has a tear along one fold.
A few pages have tears (please refer to photographs).
Minor shelf wear consistent with age.
