Magnificent sculpture reproducing a fragment of the famous cryptogram “One,” carrying a message of peace and love, installed at the entrance to the town of Deauville - [Cryptogram of Deauville](https://www.indeauville.fr/activite/sculpture-cryptogramme/).
This work is delivered with its velvet embroidered slipcover, signed by KARL LAGASSE, handcrafted in Normandy.

Karl Lagasse, a renowned artist, rose to prominence in 2009 with his One Dollar sculptures, ranking among the ten best sculptors under 30 in the same year according to Artprice. In 2012, the New York publication Farameh named him one of the fifty best contemporary artists, inspired by traditional American icons, in its volume FOR WHICH IT STANDS: Americana in Contemporary Art. More recently, in 2016, at the Art Paris Art Fair, the President of the French Republic warmly congratulated Karl for his impressive 2-meter bronze sculpture One Dollar, exhibited at the Grand Palais.
Karl Lagassemble’s artistic journey began at age 7 with collages, inspired by his meeting with the sculptor César Baldaccini. He then turned to tagging and graffiti in the Paris metro while remaining passionate about collages. The artist Yvaral Vasarely encouraged him to merge his tags with his collages. In 2003, Karl prepared his first exhibition in Paris, which led to his first solo show in 2006 at the Isy Brachot gallery in Brussels. In 2008, he returned to Paris with an exhibition combining paintings, sculptures, and video elements at the Espace Pierre Cardin.
2026: - Finalization of the work One Dollar Green Bronze 8 meters 7 tons. The largest One Dollar sculpture in the world created by the artist.
2025: - Installation of the monumental work Reflection of the Sun. Installed near the newly built Pavilion of the Baths, on the Promenade Michel d'Ornano, inaugurated by Mayor Philippe Augier on September 8.
2024: - Art Miami - Collective exhibitions Galerie Nicolas Auvray New York. On this occasion, a bronze cryptogram of 1.80 m and a 2-meter One Dollar were exhibited during the event.
