Description from the seller

Pair of Val Saint Lambert Crystal Decanters – Ruby Red & Cobalt Blue – c. 1900

An elegant pair of hand-cut crystal decanters by the prestigious Belgian manufacturer Val Saint Lambert, dating to the late 19th – early 20th century.

Both decanters are crafted from colored crystal – one in deep ruby red and the other in rich cobalt blue – and are finely cut in the classic “taille riche” tradition. The decoration features intricate cross-hatched lattice patterns, stylized leaf motifs, and beautifully executed star-cut bases, demonstrating the high level of craftsmanship associated with the finest European crystal workshops.

The tall, slender form, combined with the brilliance of the cut and the intensity of the color, gives these pieces a refined and timeless elegance, ideal for display or use on a distinguished dining or wedding table.

Each decanter is topped with a faceted stopper; these are later replacements but fit perfectly and remain visually harmonious with the overall design.

Condition:
Good antique condition with normal signs of age and use.

Dimensions:

Ruby red decanter: height approx. 30 cm, diameter approx. 8 cm
Cobalt blue decanter: height approx. 30 cm, diameter approx. 7.5 cm

Period: circa 1880–1910

A refined and decorative pair, showcasing the craftsmanship and reputation of Val Saint Lambert, highly sought-after by collectors of fine crystal.
