Description from the seller
Original work on canvas, on wooden stretcher, 61x50 cm, ripped posters, spray, acrylic, Posca.
Original and unique piece, straight from the studio. Protected and rapid shipment. Ready to hang on the wall
Lasveguix not only paints, he tears, layers, reconstructs. His creations are skin of walls, fragments of urbanity where posters mingle with graffiti, where acrylic dialogues with spray and Posca. Each work is a pulse, a street scar transposed onto canvas.
Opened to graffiti by his cousin SUOZ, he nourishes his visual language from the walls of Paris and London. In his gesture, one can hear the echoes of the great names who have marked urban and contemporary art: Jacques Villeglé and Raymond Hains for torn posters art, Vhils for sculpted matter, Basquiat for raw energy, Jérôme Mesnager for the silhouette, Miss Tic for the poetry of words, Ernest Pignon-Ernest for urban memory, Jef Aérosol for the stencil, Invader for the urban pixel, Obey for the engaged icon.
Active for over twenty years in the street art scene, Lasveguix has managed to impose a universe that is both punk and poetic. Since 2022, he transposes this street heritage to the studio, creating works where movement, time, and collective memory freeze without ever fading.
Recognized for his singularity, he regularly participates in charity galas and prestigious auctions — COEUR CENTRAL at Roland Garros, Autour des Williams at Pavillon Ledoyen, Faire ma part, Nav Solidaire or SOS Préma. His creations reach record sums there, confirming a unique place in urban and contemporary art.
Lasveguix claims an accessible, free, and vibrant art, where every torn piece tells a story of love and positivity.
