Terrestrial table globe - relief globe - 1930-1940, 1940-1950

Beautiful relief globe published by the English publisher Philip&Son but manufactured in Italy, probably in the Rico factory in Florence.
The globe has a diameter of 18 cm.
Philip relief globes are very rare, and this is especially true for this specimen.
This globe is produced with an antique-style appearance.
An exceptionally elegant presence has thus been created.
In all 40 years that I have been collecting globes, this is the first specimen I have ever come across.
Very special.
The map sheet shows a few small cracks, as befits its age.
The globe is in very good condition and is also still very well preserved in its original varnish.
All in all, a coveted, rare, unique and very aesthetically pleasing specimen.
