LONGINES--1901-- - 1900-1949

Impressive savonnette watch—LONGINES—entirely carved with raised relief, in very good condition. All its lids open and close perfectly, with no dents or dings. Lids and the edge of the watch carved with a thick relief. The watch is silver. Based on the numbering on the lids, the watch was manufactured in the year 1901. Porcelain dial, dust guard cover and movement, signed—LONGINES—Front lid opening by pressing the crown downward. Time setting by pulling the tab beneath the number 4. LONGINES movement in operation, but its accuracy has not been tested, as it has been stored for many years in the display case with the rest of the watches in my collection. The watch has only been observed for winding duration and runs for more than 24 hours. The photos do not do justice to the beauty of this excellent LONGINES watch. The watch measures 4.9 cm in diameter.
