A beautiful antique specimen of The Holy Bible, in a richly illustrated edition from 1878. In a leather binding and featuring four reinforced corners with copper-engraved adornments. Two clasps and a title inserted in depth. Gold fittings on the 1348 pages. Richly provided with a family register, dozens of engravings and several colored topographic maps. This edition includes commentary by Rev. Matthew Henry.

The Bible weighs 5.7 kilograms and is packaged very solidly. In truly splendid condition, this Bible is particularly decorative and above all complete! An asset for the collector!

Twee sloten en in diepte aangebrachte titel. Goudbeslag op de 1348 bladzijden. Rijkelijk voorzien van familieregister, tientallen gravures en meerdere ingekleurde topografische kaarten. Deze versie is van commentaar voorzien van Rev. Matthew Henry.
