About Evol and CTink
EVOL (1972, Deutschland) is an internationally renowned urban-art artist, famous for his detailed miniature facades on utility boxes, cardboard and urban surfaces. With spray stencils he transforms simple everyday objects into realistic cityscapes, often with a socially critical view on urban development and the anonymity of modern architecture.
His works have been shown among others at the Berlinische Galerie, the Palais de Tokyo (Paris) and at international art fairs such as Art Basel and Frieze. EVOL ranks among the most important European street-art artists and combines graffiti, architecture and critical storytelling in a unique way.
CTink is a contemporary street-art artist from Germany who works with hand-cut stencils and vibrant color layers. His works blend pop culture, comic aesthetics, music and political insinuations. Typical are clear lines, precise stencil technique and limited editions on canvas, wood or street-surfaces.
CTink is especially present in the European urban-art scene and has traded at gallery exhibitions, urban art festivals and online auctions. His works are sought after by collectors and stylistically sit between Banksy, Shepard Fairey and classic Pop Art.
