AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

A large-scale wall sculpture

Inner Tension invites reflection rather than providing answers.

Is the tension created by the world around us, or does it exist within ourselves? Are the three directions pulling apart, or are they searching for a common point of balance? Every viewer may discover a different story, shaped by their own experiences and emotions.

Inner Tension explores the invisible forces that define our lives—the choices we make, the relationships we build, and the silent conflicts that often remain unseen. It reminds us that strength and vulnerability can coexist, and that true balance is rarely the absence of tension, but the ability to live with it.

Handcrafted from iron and finished in metallic burgundy and black, Inner Tension combines minimalist geometry with a strong architectural presence. Its large scale makes it a striking statement piece for contemporary interiors, galleries, offices, and architectural spaces.

The sculpture is designed to be wall-mounted, and the installation kit includes wall plugs and hooks.

Dimensions: 95 × 40 × 12 cm
Material: Iron
Finish: Metallic Burgundy and Black

Information about the artist

Education: Self-taught artist.
Exhibitions: I develop my artistic practice independently.
Awards: I have not received official awards.
Residencies: I have not participated in artistic residencies.

My work focuses on creating unique pieces that exist between sculpture and functional object, emphasizing materiality, structure, and durability. I create sculptural furniture and artworks in concrete and iron, combining function with sculptural form, inspired by Brutalist aesthetics.

My artistic practice explores geometry, structure, and the expressive presence of materials, creating works that investigate balance, repetition, and visual impact within space.

Seller's Story

Wallavibe – D.B is an independent sculptural workshop where brutalism, geometry, and industrial memory are transformed into contemporary functional art. I grew up in an environment where concrete walls were thicker than words, and objects were created not for beauty, but for durability. The images of my childhood — grey housing blocks, massive furniture, rough surfaces, iron, wood, and concrete — left a deep mark on the way I think and create. It was a world where form always followed function, and aesthetics emerged from necessity rather than excess. These memories and experiences became the foundation of my work. The brutalist tables and sculptures I create today are both a direct response to that past and a dialogue with the present. I am inspired by monumentality, weight, exposed structure, and honest materials. I do not try to hide or soften them; instead, I allow them to speak for themselves. My works are an act of resistance against fast consumption. They are not created for temporary trends or seasonal tastes, but for permanence. These are objects that demand presence, time, and a relationship with the person who lives with them. They are made not to be replaced, but to remain — to age together with the space and the individual. Each piece exists at the boundary between furniture and sculpture, between function and silence. They are solid objects — sometimes uncomfortable, sometimes provocative — inviting the viewer to pause and feel the weight, texture, and history of the material. My work explores the relationship between memory, matter, and permanence in an increasingly accelerated world.
