A 40 x 40 cm hand-signed digital painting by LeYack, titled A Clean, Well-Lighted Place, an edition limited to 20 numbered copies dating from 2026 and produced in France with AI-assisted pigment printing, sold directly from the artist and delivered framed-ready with a certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
A pure Hopperesque register. Under a conical pendant that pours a white halo, a woman in a bottle-green jacket sits alone at a table, cheek resting on her hand, a cup of coffee and a sugar bowl in front of her. Beyond the large window, the nocturnal street stretches, deserted, in a deep night blue: façades extinguished, streetlights lit, shop windows of a hatter gilded in the distance. Semiotically, the glass separates two solitudes — the interior warm and lit, the exterior vast and cold — and the woman's lost gaze crosses this boundary without crossing it. The contrast between the muted green of her jacket, the amber of the shop windows, and the night blue builds an urban melancholy where artificial light serves as comfort. Everything speaks of waiting, the late hour, the city asleep.

About the artist:
LeYack (born 1972) is a contemporary artist whose work blends modern narration with pictorial heritage. Drawing inspiration from photography and cinema, he distorts the codes of realism to inject palpable emotional tension. Each work tells a frozen moment, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in the suggested story.
Keywords: neo-realist painting, night cafe, woman alone, Hopperesque register, nocturnal street, conical pendant, midnight blue, urban melancholy, green jacket, cup of coffee, solitude, oil on canvas, Le Yack, Atelier Joconde
