Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts Maastricht (1996). Uses Borgen Lindhardt as a signature name and is known for her “kimono-series,” inspired by the work of G.H. Breitner. Creates oil paintings where old masters, sometimes combined with personal elements (cat, painting supplies and figurines and animals), form a new spectacle. Her style is characterized by a visible thick brushstroke and ranges from detailed and imaginative work to loose, sketchy paintings.
