The artist Hestela Charbonnier develops a pictorial research that moves between the floral world and the figurative dimension, creating a continuous dialogue between nature and the human being. Her production ranges from botanically charged compositions, full of energy and matter, to portraits and figures in which a deep emotional sensitivity emerges.
In the floral paintings, color is the absolute protagonist: dynamic brushstrokes, material stratifications, and luminous contrasts transform the flower into a symbol of vitality, transformation, and fragility. The shapes expand on the canvas with an instinctive yet conscious gesture, giving life to intense and engaging compositions.
In the figurative works, instead, the artist explores interiority through postures, gazes, and suspended atmospheres. The figures are never simple representations, but become silent narratives, rich in emotion and psychological depth.
A common element to both lines of research is attention to matter and color as primary expressive tools. Whether it is a flower in full explosion or a figure immersed in its own thoughts, every work reflects a tension between energy and delicacy, between gesture and introspection.
