Jerrican Nutella XL 10L, a steel sculpture by XTC, dated 2026, edition 10/30, 30 x 40 x 13 cm, France, signed by hand with a COA provided, in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
Grand Jerrycan 10L Nutella by XTC.
Painted only, no stickers for a uniform result and better longevity.
Numbered out of 30 and signed underneath, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
(The exemplar in the photo is not necessarily the one that will be sent)
Careful packaging and tracked shipping.
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC has shaped his artistic universe through his interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration evolved into a passion that was to be realized.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligning with the Pop Art movement through the détournement of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity is expressed through the bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa Chups), which he makes clash with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermès, Veuve Clicquot champagne, or caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes mineral materials.
He draws inspiration, among others, from Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey and advertising and addictions in general.
All possible defects or imperfections are an integral part of the work, including any dings in non-visible parts such as the bottom of the Jerrycan.
