Insatiable and spontaneous creator, Bruno Cantais lives between Cannes and Lyon, and he explores several techniques, ranging from abstract expressionism to Rauchenberg or De Kooning, to material projections à la Georges Mathieu, to Pop Art collage or the expressionism of Karel Appel, which walks the boundaries between abstract gesture and figurative representation. But his signature always remains this physical painting, this matter worked with the body, testimony to the artist’s intimate monologue.
