French contemporary artist Léo Varek now develops a series of pop-inspired canvases built around the codes of street art, driven by a strong visual energy.
Before this studio work, I completed many monumental frescoes, notably in Europe, including a project over 600 m² in Courchevel, France. This background directly informs my current approach: more condensed, but still guided by visual impact.
My works are now distributed internationally and shipped worldwide. Each canvas is handmade in my studio in France, using mixed media that blend acrylic and spray paint. I work spontaneously to preserve tension in the gesture, strong contrasts, and real vibrancy of the colors.
