The nature of the technique I use makes each piece in the series a unique, unrepeatable work.
The work consists of a pyramidal prism, interrupted three-quarters by a hollow portion. I regard this piece as a reclaiming of the Self from the perils of existence, but also as an innate longing upward. Toward a metamorphosis of form into pure energy. Matter that becomes spirit. The hollow portion that interrupts the ascent of form toward the summit is characterized as an assembly of parts that, when unused, remain imprinted as empty traces of past experiences.
