Grand Italian hand-carved shell cameo, mounted in 18 karat gold (K18), can be worn as a brooch or a pendant.
The cameo depicts the profile of a woman in a Neoclassical style, finely relief-carved in a marine shell. The setting is in 18-karat gold, stamped K18, and is equipped with a mechanism allowing dual use: brooch and pendant.
Purchased in Italy in the 1960s-70s.
