Cameroon were minutes away from changing football history forever.
The Indomitable Lions had shocked the world. They had beaten Argentina. They had become the first African nation to reach a World Cup quarter-final.
And then came England.
2–1 Cameroon.
England on the edge.
Gary Lineker. Two penalties. Extra time.
Final score: Cameroon 2–3 England.
One of the most dramatic nights of Italia ’90.
And this ticket?
It never entered the stadium.
