According to Artprice, Bruno Cantais’ market value in 2021 was approximately 600-2000 euros for his paintings and multiple prints, making him a relatively affordable artist for art collectors.
A compulsive and spontaneous creator, Bruno Cantais lives in Lyon; he explores several techniques, ranging from abstract expressionism in the vein of Rauschenberg or de Kooning, to material projections in the style of Georges Mathieu, to Pop Art collage or to the expressionism of Karel Appel, which straddles the lines between abstract gesture and figurative representation.
But his hallmark remains this physical painting, the material worked with the body, a testament to the artist’s intimate monologue.
An artist represented by Galerie Les Couleurs de l’Éternité in France and Gallery Modern Dutchart in the Netherlands.
Listed with Artprice, Drouot, and Akoun since 2005.
Maeght Studio in 2005.
