Arnaud Leturcq was born in France in 1961. He is a contemporary French painter, known mainly for his urban and maritime landscapes executed with oil or acrylic and a highly expressive spatula technique.
He is associated with the Brittany region, especially with towns such as Ploubazlanec and Paimpol, recurring subjects in his work.
He mainly works in contemporary figurative painting, with scenes of ports, rural landscapes, historic cities and Mediterranean or Moroccan settings.
His works are typically executed with thick, textural brushstrokes, often using a spatula and vivid colors.
