In this painting on a textured base the artist has drawn many colorful and shaded bands that weave and overlap into a harmonious whole, all with warm and relaxing tones such as dove gray, black, brown, and white, ... as imagined by the Artist, it feels like sitting under a portico, sheltered from the sun, reflecting on life's chances.

Paolo Contin has a long artistic career. He trained in the world of design and since 1980 has worked in fashion and art. Since 1999 he began exhibiting his works; in 2002 his first solo show in Padua, followed by many exhibitions in Italy and abroad, including Copenhagen, Munich, Paris, Brussels, Istanbul, Buenos Aires and Sydney.
