Frequency VANDYKE BROWN is inspired by sound and frequency. From my work as a pianist I translate rhythm, pause and repetition into a visual structure. The composition follows a reduced order. Repetitions generate tensions comparable to held tones, while subtle color shifts mark transitions.

Title: Frequency VANDYKE BROWN
Size: 80 × 80 cm × 4.5 cm
Technique & materials: Acrylic paint and Heavy-Gel structural paste on canvas, built up in layers with various scrapers. The pigments form elevations and overlays with calm, pulsating tension.
Only the highest quality materials are used: Amsterdam Expert acrylic paints, Liquitex structure pastes – all locally produced in Austria.
Frame: Wide cradle frame made of solid natural wood (included in the price).
(Black decorative frame not included)
Images: The photos were taken under professional studio lighting. Light is essential for the color play of the works. The artist recommends placing under direct or indirect light to fully bring out the color variation and make the works appear alive.
