In the thick vegetation, among pink lotus flowers and blue corollas lit like sparks, a figure plays a flute facing the full moon, no longer stretched out and absent but upright, vigilant, an active part of the scene. The eyes of the animals hidden among the leaves watch motionless, suspended in a waiting that never dissolves. Volta works on green as living matter, layered and dense, where every brushstroke seems to breathe together with the forest — a color that shakes sleep and returns motion to what was once still.
