Description
Nove ceramic plate, hand-painted by Luca Andreatta Tonislao, part of the artist’s exploration of the landscape wounded by the Vaia storm of 2018, which devastated large portions of Italian forests.
At the center of the white surface appears a small cluster of fir trees: fine, essential, almost fragile marks. The composition reduces the landscape to the minimum necessary, transforming the forest into a silent icon of resilience and loss. The emptiness around the trees is not mere decorative space, but becomes memory, distance, suspension. The story of the remaining firs.
The work fuses the tradition of Nove’s artistic ceramics with a contemporary painterly gesture, sober and poetic. A refined, minimalist and intense object, suspended between design, nature, and ecological memory.
