Louis XV / Napoleonic III style display cabinet dating to circa 1900, veneered wood with floral marquetry, glazed front with a curved edge, glass side panels, bronze/gold metal mounts, and dimensions 183 x 79 x 41 cm, made in France, in good decorative condition with minor signs of age.

Louis XV / Napoleon III style showcase, late 19th century. Elegant display cabinet in veneered wood, with a sculpted form and floral marquetry decoration. The piece features a front glazed door with a curved cutout, side glass panels, two lower drawers, and cabriole-style curved legs. The lower front is adorned with floral marquetry and a central oval medallion, with decorative metal fittings in bronze/gold tones. It has ornamental hardware, metal pulls on the drawers, fittings at the upper corners and on the legs, as well as decorative moldings following the curved top edge. The interior is lined with Bordeaux capitonne fabric, with buttons and padded upholstery, suitable for displaying decorative objects, porcelains, glass, collectible pieces, or decorative jewelry. The piece has elements compatible with the late 19th century: floral marquetry, cabriole legs, decorative metal mounts, curved cutouts, and a French revival taste. The Bordeaux capitonne interior may have been replaced. The piece exhibits French characteristics: a dynamic form, cabriole legs, floral marquetry, golden/bronze metal mounts, curved glass/side panels, and a Louis XV/Napoleon III revival taste. It shows signs of age and use, small scratches, finish wear, minor faults, oxidation/patina on the hardware, and age-appropriate marks. Overall decorative condition good.
