Olga Vin presents an original, hand-signed acrylic painting on linen, After Michelangelo: Primate Genesis, XXL, measuring 130 cm by 162 cm, dated 2026, in a contemporary style with airbrush and acrylic techniques, originated in Poland, in excellent condition, with a certificate of authenticity included.
Description from the seller
Original acrylic painting on linen canvas by Dr Olga Winiarczyk.
This work belongs to the artist’s ongoing series devoted to primates and the art-historical canon. In this painting, Michelangelo’s iconic Creation of Adam is reinterpreted through a contemporary, interspecies perspective.
The divine figure is transformed into a shamanic, masked presence surrounded by ape-like seraphic heads, while the reclining Adam becomes a primate body suspended between instinct, ritual and creation. The classical scene of divine touch is shifted into a vision of species, dominance, body and spiritual transmission.
The painting combines expressive black drawing with soft airbrushed fields of colour, translucent greys, warm orange-yellow light and violet atmospheric traces. Large areas of untouched canvas remain visible, creating tension between empty space, sacred geometry and the charged gesture between the two hands.
Acrylic and airbrush on high-quality linen canvas.
Original hand-painted work, not a print.
Varnished and signed by the artist.
Certificate of authenticity included.
The work is shipped unstretched, carefully rolled in a secure protective tube. This allows for safer and more affordable international shipping. The painting can later be stretched on a wooden frame or framed according to the collector’s preference.
