In the light, the surface reveals a clear presence. Depending on the incidence of light and the viewing angle, texture and depth change; individual layers come into stronger focus. The work appears spatial and tangible – perception arises while walking, standing, and lingering.
Frequency DEEP RED — Sculpture of light, structure & presence
Frequency DEEP RED is inspired by sound and frequency. From my work as a pianist, I translate rhythm, pause and repetition into a visual structure. The composition follows a reduced order. Repetitions create tensions comparable to held tones, while subtle color shifts mark transitions.

Title: Frequency DEEP RED
Size: 80 × 80 cm × 4.5 cm
Technique & Materials: Acrylic paint and heavy-gel texture paste on canvas, built up in layers with various spatulas. The pigments form elevations and overlays with a calm, pulsating tension.
Only the highest quality materials are used: acrylic paints from Amsterdam Expert, texture pastes from Liquitex – all locally produced in Austria.
Frame: Wide hanging frame made of solid natural wood (included in price).
(Black decorative frame not included)
Images: The pictures were photographed under professional studio lighting. Light is essential for the color play of the works. The artist recommends placement under direct or indirect light to fully bring out the color play and make the works appear lively.
