Oil on panel measuring 27 x 35 cm, signed bottom left by B Retaux and bearing on the back the studio stamp as well as an inventory number. It depicts, as is often the case with the Orientalist painter, a view of Morocco. A well-regarded artist and friend of André Hambourg and Maurice Boitel, two laureates of the Ab El tif prize for Orientalist painting in Algiers. Sold without a frame.
