Description from the seller

Pair of antique perfume bottles in opaline glass with brass/bronze filigree – France, Napoleonic III Era (19th Century)
Description of the Lot: Splendid and rare pair of small travel or dressing perfume bottles dating to the second half of the 19th century (high Napoleonic III period / Palais Royal style).
The two refined decorative art objects are composed as follows:
Opaline blue royal/turquoise glass bottle: characterized by a wonderful mount in gilded brass/bronze finely crafted with filigree work featuring vegetal and foliate motifs that gracefully wrap the spherical body. Equipped with a hinged cap and small shaped handle.
Opaline milk-white glass bottle: body shaped like a flask with a narrow neck, enriched at the center by a pierced band in gilded metal with geometric and floral motifs inspired by Gothic-Renaissance style.
Collectible pieces ideal for enriching antique shop windows, vanity displays, or lovers of 19th-century French glass.
Era: 19th Century (circa 1860-1880)
Origin: France (Palais Royal Style)
Materials: Hand-blown opaline glass, mount in gilded brass/bronze
Quantity: 2 bottles
Condition of the item: good condition / used with minor signs of age and minor defects
Details of condition: Both bottles are in good conservation condition, with a splendid original patina on the metal parts that attests to their age. The opaline glass is intact in both pieces, free from cracks or fissures.
Important note:
In the blue bottle, the hinged mechanism is functional. In the white bottle, the small inner transparent glass stopper is present but currently wedged in its seat and (chipped) due to crystallized residues of ancient perfumed essences, without compromising the piece’s structural integrity.
The lot will be packed with maximum care and professional attention, using specific protective materials (bubble wrap and double rigid box) to ensure absolute integrity of the opaline glass during transport. Tracked and insured shipment via international express courier.
