A rare 18th century silver and silver gilt sewing compendium comprising needle case, powder shaker or vinaigrette, seal stamp and cotton spool.

Others describes the reticulated container as a powder shaker however the scented cotton ball inside makes us believe it was actually used as a vinaigrette
