Stilleven with apple halves, a classic oil painting from 2020+ originating in the Netherlands by Rinus Manschot (XXI), hand-signed, in good condition, 48 × 53 cm, sold with frame.
Description from the seller
A beautiful classically painted still life with apple halves, and, as a nice contrast, the orange fruit.
Good lighting and a balanced composition make it another top still life from the artist Rinus Manschot.
Painted in the characteristic style and technique of this artist.
The painting is encased in a wide classical frame; the frame has recently been refurbished.
But of course it is not a new frame.
CV.
Rinus Manschot is a highly experienced artist who has been a professional visual artist for more than 50 years.
His work is now known to many people, and some of his artworks hang with satisfied buyers.
The strength of this artist is his ability to create art of a high caliber in all styles and techniques.
Many years ago, Rinus studied and taught at the private academy Daca in Alphen aan den Rijn.
In recent years, oil painting has been the technique used.
The classical still life is central, but landscape and, to a lesser extent, portraiture are also chosen subjects.
In addition to making art himself, Rinus still gives drawing and painting lessons on a limited scale in his studio/gallery.
Furthermore, he also creates paintings on commission; his many years of experience as a teacher and his routine come in very handy when carrying out a commission.
In the coming period he will devote a lot of time to expanding the gallery collection.
