Wedgwood – Blue Jasperware Bud Vase with Classical Relief Decoration – England – 20th Century
A fine Wedgwood Jasperware bud vase in the iconic matte blue body with applied white classical relief decoration.
The vase features elegant neoclassical scenes with cherubs and a seated female figure beneath a tree, executed in the traditional white relief technique for which Wedgwood is internationally renowned. Its slender neck and balanced proportions make it ideal for displaying a single flower or as a decorative cabinet piece.
The underside bears the impressed WEDGWOOD – ENGLAND mark.
The vase is in very good vintage condition, with no cracks, chips or repairs observed. Light signs of age and handling are consistent with careful use. Please examine the photographs carefully, as they form an integral part of the description.
