In the light, the surface reveals a clear presence. Depending on the incidence of light and the viewing angle, structure and depth change; individual layers become more prominent. The work feels spatial and physical – perception arises while walking, standing, and lingering.

Frequency DEEP VIOLET is inspired by sound and frequency. From my work as a pianist, I transfer rhythm, pause and repetition into a visual structure. The composition follows a reduced order. Repetitions create tensions comparable to held tones, while subtle color shifts mark transitions.

Title: Frequency DEEP VIOLET
Size: 80 × 80 cm × 4.5 cm
Technique & Materials: Acrylic paint and heavy-gel texture paste on canvas, built up in layers with various scrapers. The pigments form elevations and overlays with calm, pulsating tension.
Only the highest quality materials are used: Amsterdam Expert acrylic paints, Liquitex texture pastes – all produced locally in Austria.
Frame: Wide hanging frame made of solid natural wood (included in the price).
(Black decorative frame not included)
Images: The images were photographed under professional studio lighting. Light is essential for the color play of the works. The artist recommends placing the works under direct or indirect light to fully bring out the color play and make the works feel alive.
