Description from the seller
work made on a synthetic panel; cement coating and epoxy resin; rusted surface; insertion of a metal rod
This work expresses the purity and sincerity of childhood, blending figurative realism with a touch of urban semi-abstraction. The thread linking the girl to the red heart symbolizes the importance of listening to one's deep emotions. With the raw energy of graffiti and the rough texture of cement, I wanted to convey a strong message: the intimate connection with one’s heart is a vital, vibrant, and hopeful force.
Exhibited nationwide and in Germany. Her vivid works are inspired by nostalgia and the cartoon characters from her childhood. In her artistic process, Andriot most often uses acrylics, spray paint, and markers with stencils, collages and various techniques on wood.
