Description from the seller

Lionel Nemeth is a Belgian contemporary artist specializing in figurative string art. His work stands out with a singular approach: the image is never drawn, it emerges only from the tension and density of a single thread.

Blind Faith explores the fragile relationship between vulnerability and trust. Deprived of its gaze, the figure seems to move forward without reference, inviting the viewer to question what guides us when certainties disappear. Through thousands of crossings of thread, the image gradually reveals itself, oscillating between abstraction and presence depending on the viewing distance.

Fully handmade, this work required more than 30 hours of meticulous labor, as well as between 5,000 and 6,000 passes of thread stretched between 260 nails.
Signed on the back and accompanied by its certificate of authenticity.
An absolutely unique work – never reproduced.
