Description from the seller

Untitled, 2015
Printed digital artwork – Original edition numbered in eight copies

This spectacular composition by Jean-Jacques Tachdjian reveals the full richness of his graphic universe, where underground comics, psychedelic art, contemporary illustration and punk culture meet. Dominated by an imposing skull with hypnotic optical effects, the work unfolds a multitude of organic shapes, characters and fantastical creatures that seem to intertwine in a lush, labyrinthine composition.

Each viewing reveals new details, making this creation a true visual exploration. The contrast between the central skull structure and the graphic profusion surrounding it gives the whole a remarkable aesthetic power that characterizes the artist’s visual language.

This impression is an original edition, numbered to only eight copies, which makes it a particularly exclusive and sought-after work.

Born in Lille in 1957, Jean-Jacques Tachdjian, also known by the pseudonym "El Rotringo", is a French artist, designer, typographer, illustrator and writer. His work, nourished by alternative comics, graphic design and rock culture, is exhibited in France as well as internationally and features in numerous private collections.
