This is an illustrated copy of Hans Christian Andersen's "Fairy Tales". The book dates from around 1937 and features eight tipped-in colour plates, 32 black & white plates and further in-text illustrations. The book remains in Fair condition. It would make a lovely addition to any children's illustrated library or private collection.
CONDITION & FEATURES
- Fair overall condition
- 8 tipped-in colour plates, 32 black & white plates + in-text illustrations
- Pages & plates are generally clean & straight
- Text-block is complete except for the Front Free Endpapers
- Binding and Hinges are secure
- Boards are mostly straight - some staining to the Front & Rear
- Spine is neat and straight - a little general wear to the head
- Previous owner's initials to Rear Pastedown
