My name is Sandra Glaser and I live in Trofaiach in beautiful Styria, where I have created a lovingly furnished studio – a place where I can dive completely into my colors, forms, and thoughts.
Even as a child I was fascinated by the world of art. This enthusiasm has never left me – it accompanies me to this day and continually inspires me anew. On travels and while visiting numerous exhibitions in Europe, I was able to gather many artistic impressions that have shaped my view of painting.
My preferred form of expression is abstract acrylic painting on canvas. In my work I deal mainly with feelings, inner states, landscapes, and fantasy worlds. It is about making visible what cannot be said – emotions, moods, and interspaces that are often expressible only in color and movement.
I paint out of passion. It is for me an intuitive process in which authenticity and depth are central. Each work is a piece of myself – an impulse, a memory, a look inward and outward at the same time.
For a painting measuring 160 x 130 cm, a stretcher frame of size 150 x 120 cm and a depth of 2-4 cm is required.
You can either simply stretch the canvas yourself or have it stretched by an artisan or gallery owner.
This is a handmade original, signed by the artist on the back and dated.
High-quality, lightfast acrylic paints were used on multiple coated gallery canvas.
A varnish was applied to protect the work as well.
