My name is Sandra Glaser and I live in Trofaiach in beautiful Styria, where I have created a lovingly furnished studio – a place where I can fully immerse myself in my colors, shapes, and thoughts.
Since childhood I have been fascinated by the world of art. This enthusiasm has never left me – it accompanies me to this day and inspires me over and over again. On travels and visits to numerous exhibitions in Europe I was able to gather many artistic impressions that have shaped my view of painting.
My preferred form of expression is abstract acrylic painting on canvas. In my works I deal primarily with feelings, inner states, landscapes, and fantasy worlds. I aim to make visible what cannot be said – emotions, moods, and interspaces that are often only expressible in color and movement.
I paint out of passion. It is for me an intuitive process in which authenticity and depth are central. Every work is a piece of myself – an impulse, a memory, a look inward and outward at the same time.
For a painting measuring 160 x 130 cm you need a cradled frame sized 150 x 120 cm with a thickness of 2-4 cm.
You can either simply stretch the canvas yourself or have it stretched by an artisan or gallery owner.
This is a handmade original, which has been signed by the artist on the back and dated by year.
