With this work in vertical format, Medsan depicts Goku, the Dragon Ball hero signed Akira Toriyama, in full Super Saiyan transformation, in the manner of an old ukiyo-e print. Spiked hair and a blazing aura, the orange gi torn by battle, the warrior stands fists clenched before Mount Fuji, in a wind-swept plain. The red cartouche bears the mention “super warrior” and the signature is inscribed in the manner of master engravers.

The visual strength of the composition lies in its language of traditional prints: bold ink lines, stylized swirling clouds, a muted Edo-era engraving palette and the grain of aged paper. The explosive energy of the Super Saiyan, treated with the swirls and rhythms of ukiyo-e, takes on a quasi-mythological dimension.
