Title: "In the First Light"

"In the First Light" tells of this special moment between night and day – when the world is still quiet and anything seems possible. The darkness is still tangible, yet brightness already spreads on the horizon. It is a moment of pause, before the day writes its stories.

The luminous yellows and turquoise tones feel like the first sunbeams touching landscape, thoughts, and feelings. The darker areas recall what lies behind us: experiences, doubts, and memories. Yet they are not obfuscated – they belong to the painting as much as the light. Only their interaction gives the work its depth.

The painting invites the viewer to focus on new beginnings. It reminds us that every day begins with a quiet possibility: the chance to see anew, to feel anew, and to set out again. "In the First Light" is a homage to hope, which often begins so unobtrusively—and is therefore so powerful.

Biography:
My name is Sandra Glaser and I live in Trofaiach in the beautiful Styria, where I have created a lovingly furnished studio – a place where I can immerse myself completely in my colors, shapes and thoughts.
Since childhood I have been fascinated by the world of art. This enthusiasm has never left me – it accompanies me to this day and continually inspires me anew. On travels and visits to numerous exhibitions across Europe I have gathered many artistic impressions that have shaped my view of painting.
My preferred form of expression is abstract acrylic painting on canvas. In my work I deal mainly with feelings, inner states, landscapes and fantastical worlds. It is about making visible what cannot be said – emotions, moods and interspaces that are often expressed only in color and movement.
I paint out of passion. It is for me an intuitive process in which authenticity and depth are central. Each work is a piece of myself – a impulse, a memory, a look inward and outward at the same time.

For a painting with the dimensions 160 x 100 cm you need a stretched canvas frame sized 150 x 90 cm with a thickness of 2-4 cm.

You can then either simply stretch the canvas yourself or have it stretched by an artisan or gallery owner.

This is a handmade original, signed by the artist on the back and dated for the year.

High-quality, lightfast acrylic paints were used on multiple-layer white-primed gallery canvas.

A varnish was also applied to protect the work.

This work is handmade and therefore unique!
