In this work I wanted to reinterpret an absolute icon of the pop imagination through a direct, instinctive language and deliberately irreverent. The female face, built with bright blocks of yellow, orange, red, and black, emerges from a surface crowded with writings, hearts, signs, and graphic fragments that recall a street wall covered with thoughts and spontaneous messages.
I was especially interested in creating an ironic contrast between the myth of the perfectly polished beauty of Marilyn Monroe and the disordered, almost teenage energy that surrounds her. The diva no longer seems distant and unreachable: she is immersed in a universe of phrases, declarations of love, slogans, and small instinctive signs, as if the myth had suddenly entered a personal diary or a street wall.
The work stems from my interest in the dialogue between Pop Art and Street Art, between icon and painterly gesture. Imperfections, overlays, and splashes of color are an integral part of the piece: they aim to restore a physical, immediate, and human dimension to the image.
With this composition I sought to tell, with lightness and irony, about our ongoing need to transform famous figures into symbols, only to appropriate them through words, emotions, and personal memories. The result is an energetic and instinctive artwork in which glamour and graffiti coexist in a deliberately provocative balance.

The work can be hung directly on the wall without a frame.
The signature is applied in the original on the right edge of the canvas (clearly visible as shown in the image).

The work is in excellent condition.
