Description from the seller
Stephane BINET is an artist specializing in steel sculpture, exhibiting his works in France and Spain. Also on an international platform in a digital gallery.
This work is a contemporary sculpture that highlights the balance between form, void, and movement. Realized in matte black, it consists of several superimposed geometric elements that seem to stay in balance despite their apparent fragility. The artist plays with lines, curves, and angles to create an impression of lightness and dynamism. The sculpture catches the eye with its verticality and visual rhythm, giving the impression that it is in motion.
The choice of uniform black enhances the purity of the forms and highlights the play of shadow and light. The work fits within a minimalist movement where each element has a precise aesthetic function. It invites the viewer to observe from different viewpoints in order to discover new silhouettes depending on the viewing angle.
This creation also evokes the search for balance between stability and imbalance, an idea often present in contemporary art. The shapes seem to dialogue with one another while defying the laws of gravity. The absence of decoration allows full attention to be focused on the volumes and proportions.
Finally, this sculpture naturally finds its place in a modern, minimalist interior. It demonstrates that with simple forms and a thoughtful composition, it is possible to evoke emotions, question our perception of space, and transform an object into a true work of art.
Height 53 cm
Width 21 cm
Depth 10 cm.
One-of-a-kind work signed and delivered with its certificate of authenticity.
