unique piece 1/1
An iconic work is struck by an egg, but it is not an act of blind destruction. The color exploding onto the canvas is not chosen at random: it is the same as the inside of the egg, as if the essence of the gesture is transformed into painting.
In Desecrated, the artist carries out a visceral yet lucid intervention, where apparent vandalism becomes a new language. It is a challenge to the passive respect for the “untouchable” image, but also a generative gesture: from the strike arises a new balance, a new tension between past and present.
It is indeed a profanation, but sacred in its own way—because it turns a primitive gesture into an aesthetic statement.
SHIPPING INSURED!
The package is carefully packed. The canvas is shipped already stretched on a wooden frame, frame not included.
The artist established himself in 2024 as one of the most sought-after names on Catawiki, placing himself just behind icons like Kaws and Banksy. His art stands out in an exclusive context that includes other categories of excellence, such as Rolex, Lego, Louis Vuitton, Porsche, Eames, Macallan, Tintin, Cartier and Pokémon. A talent recognized not only for creative value but also as one of the most promising investments of the year.
Born in 1992 in Macerata, Marche, the Italian artist pursued a path that, between studies in Surveying and Architecture, led him to collaborate with a resin sculpture craftsman. There arose an ever-stronger need to find himself and unleash his creativity.
His works are sold worldwide, collaborating with galleries in Italy and Europe.
His art is widely appreciated and cannot be missing among collectors of paintings and sculptures of street art, pop art, and contemporary art.
"It is never easy to classify one’s art; I try to convey what my eyes see, my way of perceiving what surrounds me, and I rework it with a design that suits modern times: impactful and memorable."
