About the artist...

Quiona Ribes is an urban artist born in Spain in 1987. It was in Valencia where her interest in street art was born, and she conducts pictorial experiments inspired by street art and painters from the late twentieth century. This is how she begins to develop her own style.

Subsequently she moves to Barcelona to continue her studies in architecture, but a year later she decides to set aside the profession of architect and thus study Applied Arts to the Wall and later earn a degree in Art History.

Her work, initially impressionist, now offers a singular and appealing vision in which she often uses a poetic language related to current events, art history and graffiti. She is known for works created with the urban stencil technique and began to draw inspiration from scene artists such as Banksy, Martin Whatson, Keith Haring, 1UP, PichiAvo, Okuda, Mr.Brainwash, Vhils and others, as well as classics like Leonardo da Vinci, El Greco or Velázquez.

In recent years she has focused on street art, which has allowed her to become today one of the leading women in the field.
