Description from the seller

FENX – "Consolation" (2024)

Unique modern lithography – Hand-signed – 80 x 100 cm

PLEASE READ THE LISTING CAREFULLY: NO SHIPMENT WITH THE FRAME; HAND-DELIVERY ONLY; OTHERWISE SHIP ROLLED IN A PROTECTIVE TUBE

This work was created for FENX's solo exhibition titled "Rocks Have Tales To Tell", presented at Galerie Outsiders in November 2024.

From an exclusive series of large-format modern lithographs, each print constitutes a true unique piece.

Unlike a standard edition, FENX personally intervenes in the digital color treatment, adjusting hues, contrasts and chromatic harmonies so that each work has its own visual identity.

Each copy is therefore unique and hand-signed by the artist.

Through this elegant, cinematic composition, FENX unfolds a universe instantly recognizable, blending contemporary culture, urban aesthetics and visual storytelling. His work plays with light, contrasts and popular references to create works that are at once timeless and resolutely contemporary.

Artist biography

Born in 1974, FENX is a major figure on the contemporary French urban scene. Emerging from the 1990s graffiti movement, he gradually developed his own artistic language mixing painting, illustration, digital creation and popular culture.

His universe is recognizable by its enigmatic characters, cinematic atmospheres and mastery of contrasts. Inspired by music, cinema, comics and urban imagination, he creates works that invite the viewer to build their own story.

He is represented in numerous private collections in France and internationally, and he regularly exhibits in galleries and at events dedicated to contemporary art and urban art. His solo exhibition "Rocks Have Tales To Tell" marked an important milestone in his career by exploring notions of memory, narrative and emotion through a series of new works.

The work is currently displayed in a professional frame under glass.

Given the fragility of this framing, on-site pickup is strongly recommended.

For buyers requesting shipping, the work can be removed from its frame and shipped rolled in a rigid protective tube specially designed for transporting artworks. This solution guarantees maximum safety during transport.

Shipping framed under glass is not recommended due to the significant risk of breakage during transport.
